Denise is a freelance international midwifery lecturer and renowned authority on maternity complementary therapies (CTs). Trained in several therapies, Denise developed a BSc(Hons) degree in CTs at the University of Greenwich (1992-2004). She was awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Greenwich in 2020 and a Fellowship from the Royal College of Midwives in 2018 for her 40 years' work in this specialist field.

Harry, who acts as Expectancy's Academic Conduct Officer, is a Fellow of the prestigious British Biological Society and Senior Lecturer in physiology at the University of Greenwich, London. He has a specific academic discipline in genetics and genomics and helped formulate national genetics competencies for pre-registration nurses, midwives and health visitors.

Ursula is a Visiting Professor in Clinical Hypnosis at Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen and Visiting Teaching Fellow at Oxford University Medical School. She is also an honorary lecturer at Bart's and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry and at Queen Mary's, University of London. Ursula and her team at Thames Medical Lectures teach clinical hypnosis at eleven UK medical schools, including Oxford and Cambridge.
