Want to set up a private maternity complementary therapies practice, but not quite sure how to go about it? Expectancy's exciting new scheme provides professional and business training and support
At Expectancy, we know that many midwives want to set up in private practice offering complementary therapies, but lack the confidence to "go it alone". It's a difficult transition from being an NHS midwife to being self-employed and this can sometimes discourage really enthusiastic midwives from getting started.
Expectancy is currently developing a unique team of consultants to provide maternity complementary therapies and pregnancy support services for expectant mothers. We want to establish a network of well-trained practitioners who can offer a range of ways to support women during pregnancy in order to facilitate women to have as normal a birth as possible.
Expectancy is a well-established company with over a decade of experience in training midwives in complementary therapies, and an international reputation for safety. We now want to provide a service which can help you to set up your own practice. By joining our innovative new scheme you will not only receive the training, by completing our unique Diploma in Midwifery Complementary Therapies, but you'll also benefit from the Expectancy name and the infrastructure to help you establish your practice. We'll provide mentoring for both clinical and business issues and you'll be part of a growing team of Expectancy consultants around the UK.
